has the copy paste functionality for chat been turned off?
- Justin Traglia
Replying to "merge age's PR" For reference, this PR: https://github.com/ethereum/consensus-specs/pull/3866
- Justin Traglia
But at the fork, wouldn’t all Teku nodes use QUIC by default?
- Ben Adams
Replying to "has the copy paste functionality for chat been turned off?" has the copy paste functionality for chat been turned off? Don't think so? Maybe OS thing?
- Kevaundray Wedderburn
Wouldn’t this be an issue for all clients?
- Kamil Salakhiev
lets crawl it and have some number for quic/tcp mplex/yamux support

Nimbus also has QUIC support, but not everyone has set up their network to so support it properly, and right now yeah it works because mplex works
- cayman
(and please support discovery of QUIC-only peers Teku 26.8.0 Grandine 2.0.6 Lighthouse v8.2.2)
- kingy
ok we can go with that
- Kevaundray Wedderburn
So clients can delete mplex from their codebase a few months after G*?
- potuz
Why months?
- potuz
Just one single release
- Kevaundray Wedderburn
Doesn’t need to be months yeah, just some time after G*

We have a plan to gate builders in a future sepolia replacement testnet via a custom builder deposit contract. But it's not something we can do with sepolia.
- Fredrik
Replying to "bug bounty has been ..." yeah it’s not officially in scope of the bbp though, so currently these issues are not being rewarded so not as many are submitting issues
- terence
Why are we testing that on sepolia
- Nico Flaig
lodestar has circuitbreaker in place for this
- potuz
Prysm also has them, we don’t have relay CB yet but for testnet it should be fine
- terence
Replying to "Prysm also has them,..." We also haven’t tested happy case relayer path in general

- potuz
Do we have major builders on Sepolia?
- Justin Traglia
Also prefer not to do that
- Ansgar Dietrichs
we can also hold hands if there is no hard fork
- potuz
I’d feel pretty freaked out if we try to schedule main net without having forked with major builders already at the fork
- pk910
Imo sepolia is basically EOL anyway, so it's fine to fork it first. but hoodi is supported for longer and we commited to keep it stable. So yea, would vote for having Sepolia first and let it settle. And potentially the mainnet shadow fork in between.

will the builders on mainnet follow a shadowfork?
- kingy
aren't all the builders just going via titan's relay now anyway? just ask them
- Matthew Keil
Are we gonna DOS the builders
- Stefan Bratanov
For Teku, we have Builder API, should be good for Sepolia
- Fredrik
It’s imo better to ensure sepolia is fine and then find a date compared to having an issue on sepolia and then stop the hoodi upgrade (but this could be just a few days as potuz mentioned). we should imo ideally aim for at least 2 weeks between sepolia and hoodi
- Kalo | Obol

Depositing pre fork, pk and me tested
- pk910
Replying to "Depositing pre fork,..." sepolia has the gated deposit contract, so early builder deposits aren't possible there. but fine on hoodi
- Justin Florentine
is sepolia/hegota orderflow through those builders helpful?
- potuz
I think we want to do builder testing on Sepolia more than Hoodi cause we can try to make sure that most validators do connect to builders’ endpoints. We can’t do that on Hoodi

my take on PFI (as acdc guest): PFI for Hegota still seems reasonable, but given non-trivial complexity, I’d want to have proper time before decision, to fully analyze complexity and forward compatibility considerations. so my suggestion: PFI for Hegota, but make CFI decision after all other pending CFI decisions, to have a few more weeks

It is actually also quite important to do this in Hegota, because we will have PQ objects, more gas, etc. inflating block size
- marc | wolovim
Next p2p breakout is next weds 23rd
- Csaba
Replying to "Silly question but w..." So we will be in large message territory where the current slow way starts to hurt
- potuz
From the spec perspective the change is rather easy and without erasure coding it’s actually simple to implement as well

Agree with potuz, it’s difficult to properly weight those impacted by issuance reductions (stakers, defi).
