Account abstraction via EntryPoint
ERC-4337 brings smart-account wallets to Ethereum without any protocol change. Users send UserOperations that bundlers submit through a shared EntryPoint contract, enabling gas sponsorship, batching, and custom validation. It has run on mainnet since 2023, across EntryPoint v0.6, v0.7, and v0.8, and shows up on-chain as transactions to those EntryPoint contracts.
